Winter flower.

New Year's food.

Eating a crepe at a New Year's festival.

Yuri had one too, though didn't get quite so messy.

After the festival, we went bowling.

Saw a monkey show at the mall.

Yuri won 3 goldfish at a festival in August. They've been living in a pot outside ever since. At night the temperature sometimes drops below freezing, but not long enough for the water to freeze over. If you're having trouble finding all 3 fish, here's a hint: one of them is grey.

The Great Blizzard of 2017. If you look close you can see snowflakes.

It's late January, so Spring has started.

Emily doesn't do things halfway. Time for a puzzle? No. Time for 6 puzzles. At the same time. All pieces mixed together, and most of them upside down.

Found this on Yuri's desk. Translation: Girls' Colors • Orange • Yellow • Light blue • Purple • Pink • Red • Light orange

After-school snack.

First day of Spring (under the traditional/lunar calendar) starts in a couple hours. These flowers got an early start. Today was almost 60°F.

From the park closest to the house.

My first time seeing tanuki, at the Asa Zoo in Hiroshima.
