One of the few things the kids fight over are Legos. So i put Emily in the living room with Duplos.

...And Yuri upstairs with Legos. Problem solved.

Yuri's ready for her last day of kindergarten.

We didn't get many good photos of the graduation ceremony, unfortunately. Here's one of Yuri with some of her classmates.

After the main graduation ceremony with all the classes, there was a smaller one in each individual class.

Yuri with her best friend.

Yuri with her teacher.

Yuri and friends with the principal.

Noriko got a pet rabbit. Sometimes i let him out of the cage for some free-range time. I found that rabbits are really hard to photograph though because they don't remain still very long.

Cookie time!

We took the kids to an amusement park and ran into several of Yuri's friends.

One of the things i like about Japan: the climate is just warm enough to support random palm trees.

While the bigger kids went on a water ride, i took Emily to feed chickens.

Random shrines are common, even in the middle of a park.

Yuri getting ready to jump.

Yuri's friend wasn't quite as reserved and ended up going a lot higher.

I tried to get all the kids to smile for a group shot. It didn't quite work.

Emily ended up playing with this boy a lot.
