Yuri's first day of elementary school was the next day.

Off to day 2 of elementary school, the first day of normal classes.
And Emily's off to her 3rd day of kingergarten. She already likes it enough to look forward to going there.
Yuri has said she wants to be a doctor for the past few years. She likes to practice on Emily.
We made cookies again. I assigned bowl cleaning duties to the kids.
I took Yuri to the nearest park to teach her to ride her bike. I guess last year she almost had it down, but not quite. She can't start by herself, and can't really control her direction, but if i giver her a push she can cross the park and then stop when she gets to an edge.
We had professional photos taken to commemorate the kids starting school.
Took Yuri to the park again to practice the bicycle. This time she was getting good enough that i was a bit bored. So i took a picture of the trees. It is a ヤエザクラ、which is some variety of cherry blossom.
Yuri's got the basics down. She can do circles around the park. I told her to do a figure-8 and she did that too. With just a bit more practice she'll be ready to go on the street.
